Accommodations at the ranch are first class. The most popular place after the evening hunt is the ranch's trophy room where full-bodied lions prowl the floor, hippos dot the walls, and leopards gaze down from above. The Texas trophies are never to be denied their place at Santa Margarita, however, and the room houses everything from gulf-coast ducks to preying bobcats and of course the elusive trophy whitetail. Head that way after you've landed that trophy of a lifetime and relish in the experience. Hard work and patience will never have felt so good. Maybe even spend the rest of the evening there around the poker table, pool table, or 60 inch plasma with every DirectTV sports channel. And don't worry that your alma mater is playing in a bowl game at the same time you're hunting. We'll record the game for you and you can watch it after you've finished taking pictures with that trophy buck.
      But of course the beauty of Santa Margarita is not just indoors.  The rugged and wild of South Texas is best appreciated from the comfort of spacious porches and rocking chairs.  This experience of South Texas' characteristic charm that is peaceful and at the same time wild will be our goal to provide for you as you hunt with us.
