The success of Stickers' offspring (Styx is a Stickers son) is well-known. Styx bears possitive resemblence to Stickers in the frame and sheer size, and gains the more typical and bowl-shape from Oscar, his grandsire on the dam side.
Styx is the product of a Stickers x Oscar cross, and one of a handful of breeders from Ralph Galyan using this cross. SMR bought G709 from Galyan as a yearling in 2008 and now, as Styx, he plays an important role in SMR's breed strategy.
